High grade secure voice gateway
ECTOCRYP® Black is a 120(E1) / 92(T1) Channel, Small Form Factor Voice Gateway that supports Secure Communications Interoperability Protocol (SCIP) calls into legacy Red enclave terminal connections.
SCIP was developed by the National Security Agency (NSA) to allow end-to-end encryption of voice and data services over minimal bandwidth links. NATO has adopted the use of SCIP and its international development is coordinated by NSA.
By terminating SCIP calls from existing devices (Sectera, QSEC2700, Omni, etc.) into the ECTOCRYP® Black gateway, remote users will be able to transparently communicate into existing Red enclaves where non-SCIP devices are used. Classification at up to SECRET/TOP SECRET level will be supported.
